#AceScotsmanReport – Feb.01: Storm Henry prompts new wind warnings for ScotlandFresh weather warnings of high winds have been issued as Scotland prepares for the arrival of Storm Henry later on Monday.
Met Office amber “be prepared” alerts for high winds, covering most of the country, will be in force from 15:00 GMT on Monday.
Gusts of 70-80mph are expected widely, with 90mph gusts possible in exposed areas, especially in the west.
Schools in the Western Isles will be closed and some rail services suspended from early afternoon.
